718 DAILY NEWS SUMMARY FISH IN A FLAP--This inoffensive-looking fish, the Tilapia, has Florida conservationists in a flap. It was imported from Asia to get rid of excess algae and provide new sport for fishermen but it's a vegetarian and won't take bait or lure. On top of that, it eats valuable plants that provide shelter and breeding grounds for some fish. In Asia it's raised in rice paddies as food crop. Astronauts Watch Apollo Moon Ship Roll to Launch Pad CAPE KENNEDY, Sept. 8 (P) The Apollo-12 astronauts watched their Saturn-5 rocket roll to the launch pad today and lone of them grumbled that the November shot isn't soon enough. Standing upright atop a transporter as big as a baseball infield, the 363-foot-tall vehicle began moving out of his hangar at 5:57 AM on its nine hour trip to the launch site 3.5 away. Charles (Pete) Conrad, Richard F.

Gordon Jr. and Alan L. Bean will fly the second moonlanding mission. They viewed the early part of the rolling out from a window in the launch control center, then moved outside. "It looks good," Conrad said as he gazed at the mammoth rocket tipped with the Apollo-12 spacecraft.

"We're ready to go." "The only thing it's got to do is fly," Gordon said. It was Conrad who said the November launch is "not soon enough." Apollo-12 is to blast off at 11:22 AM Nov. 14. Conrad and Bean are to land on the moon's Ocean of Storms about 2 AM Nov. 19.

Rep. Ford Backs House Tax Bill WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 (P) Rep. Gerald Ford the House (GOP) leader, backs the House-passed bill, which differs considerably from administration proposals, he said Sunday, He stopped short of criticizing administration proposals specifically and praised President Nixon's initiative in the legislation. But he implied his opposition to some administration ideas and said he hopes the Senate passes a bill essentially like that voted by the House.

His views were given on a TV program. Funeral Directors JOHN E. MARY C. ROBERTS ROBERTS lie. mgr.
